NCT 127의 정규 1집 리패키지 앨범 ‘NCT #127 Regulate’는 기존 정규 1집 수록곡 11곡에 타이틀 곡 ‘Simon Says’를 포함한 3곡이 추가 수록, 총 14곡으로 구성되어 풍성한 음악 색깔을 만날 수 있다.
특히, 이번 타이틀 곡 ‘Simon Says’는 묵직한 베이스 리프와 날카로운 신스 사운드가 어우러진 어반 힙합 곡으로, 타인의 기대와 사회적 통념에 자신을 맞춰가는 현대인의 모습을, 말하는 대로 행동해야 하는 ‘Simon Says’ 게임에 빗대어 표현했으며, 잃어버린 정체성을 회복하고 진정한 자아를 찾아나가자는 메시지를 가사에 담아 눈길을 끈다.
