컨템퍼러리 밴드 SHINee가 오는 19일 세 번째 미니 앨범 '2009, Year Of Us'를 발표하며 화려하게 컴백한다. 이번 미니 앨범은 지난 5월 25일 발매한 두 번째 미니 앨범 '로미오' 이후 약 5개월 만에 발표하는 새 음반으로, SHINee가 데뷔 곡 '누난 너무 예뻐' 부터 '산소 같은 너', '아.미.고' '줄리엣'까지 히트 행진을 이어왔던 만큼, 발매하자마자 폭발적인 반응을 얻을 것으로 예상된다. 또한 차세대 패셔니스타 SHINee답게 스타일도 파격적으로 변신, 네오 고딕 스타일을 가미한 글램&시크 룩을 선보여, 모노 톤의 시크한 의상과 화려한 오브제를 사용, 자유분방하면서도 몽환적인 느낌의 스타일링으로 변신해, 앨범 발매 전 공개된 사진만으로도 화제가 되고 있다. 

타이틀 곡 'Ring Ding Dong'은 아프리칸 콩고드럼의 그루브, 현대적인 컬러의 일렉트로 신디가 결합된 편곡으로 완성된 Afro-electro 장르의 노래. 가사에는 이성에게 자신도 모르게 빠져드는 상황을 “나 왜이래”라고 하소연하듯 고백하는 내용이 담겨있으며, 사랑에 빠진 순간을 머릿속에서 벨이 울린다는 만화 같은 상상력으로 풀어내 'Ring Ding Dong'으로 표현했다.
